The house is moving along

Well the house is going full steam ahead.

By tomorrow the wall panels should be all done and I can take a piccie of it looking like a real house YEAH!!!!

On another front, I have been doing a little knitting. I have a lovely girly set to go on 4BF shortly. Just need to block out the top piece and sew together and then the neckband or something similar

Then I need to get onto my boy set - thinking a nice aran jumper out of bfl to go with merino longies. They will be the green/blue kettle dye I did AGES ago.

And I have started my Eris - done the yoke and that's it. My lovely sis wants Rogue so need to do that at some stage too

Oh soo many things to knit and not enough time in the day

GRRR

Stupid blogger wouldn't let me in for a week and now it's letting me in.

Heaps has happened in the last two weeks or so.

Xmas came and went and so did the relos. On NYE we had both boys christened (lovely day but totally exhausting). I'll have some photos of that later.

I have been dyeing wool for orders (more photos to come) and playing with some other wools just for fun and technique development. Seems I am getting pretty damn good at this dyeing thing, even if I do say so myself. photos yet to come.

Oh and I didn't get the job :( I got an interview, but apparently another applicant was better at interview than me (i've only ever done 3 including that one in my entire life). But I am on the eligibility list, so if that chickie falls through, its mine ALLL MINE!!!!

I have some more knitting projects in the wind too
one for the girls for winter (sneaky photos later)
One planned for boys for winter
Eris on the needles for me, Rogue just waiting to be done
Pair of shorties for Ali of craft alley (almost done, just need to finish the legs and waistband)
as well as a million other things I have seen.

Anyone want a almost 2yr for a few days. Promise, he don't eat much and is more than likely going to hand you a poo at some stage during the day (either his or soemthing else's)

The ROOF is ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<

Pete got cranky with doing stuff here all the time after work, so we paid some guys to do the roof for us.
And it was done in 3 days. We rang them on Sunday - they started Monday and Finished Wednesday. WE rang them at the right time. If it'd been a few days later, we would have been waiting till at least end of Jan. SO it was GREAT timing.
And I priced my kitchen ...... mmmm need to sell a lot of knits and wool to be able to afford that beauty. Back to the drawing board :(

latest wooly dye lots

Here are the some of the latest dyes from my pot

where we got up to on the weekend and view photos

Here's where the house got up to over the weekend, and the views from each of the 2nd storey windows. We could have had a GREAT view from our bedroom window, but needed to put the window in another spot to balance the look of the house from the front.

job application all but done

Okay, it's nearly done. Not sure how good it is, but here's hoping its good enough to get me the job.

I got the info package and it's an entry level position so room for improvement with salary - even as a permanent part timer. I just hope that they don't say I am over qualified - soo what they get someone who's better for less $$$ and I get better hours. Well that's my thinking anyways
